This one minute recruitment video was two years in the making.
I began professionally documenting CopperPoint’s internal events in 2018. From award ceremonies to ice cream socials, the captured footage was often made into recap videos shared internally on CopperPoint’s intranet, or externally on their LinkedIn.
So when HR requested a recruitment video in late 2019, I had a robust library to pull from. However, to create the final product, this previously captured event footage had to be combined with staged employee shots. With the help of an assistant I scouted, lit and filmed locations in both Arizona and California, also prepping, organizing and directing 24 employee actors.
Edited together with music and motion graphics, the completed recruitment video is a snapshot of life at CopperPoint that features authentic faces and places. As well as accompanying HR staff to recruitment events, the final video lives on the CopperPoint site, on their Careers page.
